More happy tears! My DS2's last day at primary school, emotional leavers' assembly. All the children had a dictionary and leaver's book presented to them, much polite applause for each child. Then DS's name called out and a huge spontaneous cheer went up! I was bawling my eyes out!

oh lovely Smile

ds1 finishes today as well, end of an era

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 22/07/2011 12:12

Thanks guys. Smile Hope your DS1 has a good last day, Ninja.

My DS2 was a bit bemused by all the tears and told me not to be a cry baby. Apparantly DS3 has written on his polo shirt, like they do on the last day, but he's written 'Kick me!' Grin Nice to keep grounded!

Well done little EllenJane

I'm emotional enough thinking that they'll all be moving up a class....

Thanks all. He's a lovely boy, completely unselfconscious and completely egotistical! Grin His class are really generous, tolerant children. We'll miss them. Gotta go collect him from school now.

Love him, he just takes it as his due! Just finished his leavers' picnic/party. Can't quite believe that 7 years is over. Sad But TBH, he's had enough of primary school. I hope secondary proves to be a positive experience.
