Ear plug recommendations?

DS wants ear defenders for the playground and beavers as another boy with sensitivity to sound at beavers has them. However DH is worried that this will leave him open to bullying and less able to socialise (he already has no friends at school). Any recommendations for ear plugs for a 6 year old please?

No reccomendations im afraid. DH wont let DS wear his ear defenders either. They help him so much and he loves them but DH has the same concerns. I love the ear defenders but they do look a bit odd I suppose.

It is hard Smug I know for the husbands but DS is already different - at least he would be comfortable. DS has only just explained how much of an issue it is.

I have finally decided to get an NHS referral to the audiology dept as they can prescribe custom made ear plugs to help him filter the noise and the HT has agreed to start with the playground and build up to assembly and possibly classroom :)
