Taking Methylphenidate to USA

Does anyone know what the rules are about taking methylphenidate into Florida? (DS takes 10mgs and a 5mg daily). We will be taking a drs letter with us but need to ensure this is ok as dont want to have problems when we get there.

it should be fine as its a common drug over there, additionally whyile its a prescribed pill its not on the restricted controlled list

take a fressh bottle or if possible get it in the foil packs unopened and untouched mention it at security before they scan and you should be fine
