SALT ASSESSER COMING TO NURSERY ANY ADVICE PLEASE

ds went thru triage at salt with us querying ASD, now been told another lady from salt who is on the autism panel wants to meet me at ds nursery 8 july to observe him and to decide wether to refer him to panel, anyone gone thru this? if so any advice what will happen? and will she take all my concerns into consideration and not just observation at nursery, any help and advice needed thanx

DS2 had a few visits at nursery from the SALT and EP before a formal dx of ASD was made. It is standard procedure, so they can see how he is interacting with others and how he is out of home.

It will be ok, nothing to worry about.

these specialist SALTS really know what they are looking for ime. Im lucky, ours is very lovely and did both dx visits with my two girls.
She should feed to you after her visit

will she ask for some info off me? what he is like at home, as he is only in school 2.5 hours a day, and will she let me know that day if she thinks he is?

Lady from the autism panel been to assess ds today, she has no doubt he asd, Ds has now been reffered to autism panel, Finally!!!!
