Need to send any tribunal evidence soon. Going to tribunal over parts 2 and 3 in a statement. Just wondered what those in a similar position have sent. Other than professional reports, did anyone send anything else and what sort of thing was it?

Thanks

In my parental response document, I referred to the sen code of practice, the lea's own published criteria re the need to assess for a statement of sen and for entry to the school we wanted ds to attend, school publications and letters from schools we didn't feel were appropriate. We pointed out how his statement as it stood and lea proposals contravened or were incompatible with the above. Otherwise it was just explaining how points made in the professional reports supported our case and where they were incompatible with suggested lea provision.

(We found the lea criteria by searching their own website)

The same as pinkorkid ,but as we were fighting Parts 2,3 & 4,we also included two very lengthy responses from 2 M/S schools who we applied to ( before we knew how severe he was ) which stated that there was no way that they could have our DS in their school as he needed specialist teaching for his SLi .

My Solicitor was not going to include these letters but they were all so telling and extremely detailed .We also added the ofsted reports for the two schools-La and ours .
The LA conceded nearly 3 months before tribunal and we got our chosen school - Good Luck

Well, look at the key arguments and then look at everything and anything you have i.e. home school link book text, anything you have gleaned from a subject data request, any emails between you and the LA.?
