help i need help with my hyperactive child

i have a 4 year old little girl who is constantly go the go and very demanding. i have tried to get referred by the doctors for an assessment for ADHD but they said they dont feel they need to be involved and its normal diagnosed at 6. i am strting to worry as she starts full time school in sept n she'll never cope

is she at nursery/pre-school? just that if they are also concerned docs might take you more seriously at this age. it is v hard to get an ADHD diagnosis so early, as they look at behaviour in school as well as home. have you spoken to the school she's starting about your concerns, you should be able to speak to senco before she starts to get a bit of an idea how they will deal with her?
