DS2 talked at nursery today!

He uses single words with me at home quite a lot, but has never spoken at nursery before (he's three and has been going there since he was 2.5). Today he said 'cow', made an oinking noise when he saw a picture of a pig and said bye bye to his teacher, unprompted! I'm so delighted. Thought he might only ever speak to me.
Those of you with verbal AS children - what patterns did their speech development take?

No experience of AS - my son has GDD and has no speech at 26 months, but I can imagine only too well how thrilled you are. Wonderful news
