2nd tier tribunal

This is for a friend.

I understand that there is a 28-day time limit to appeal a tribunal's decision.

Does anyone know

  • how long before the case gets heard?
  • does it usually mean that the case gets sent back to be reconsidered? or what?

What happens then?

TIA

I'm sure someone here may be able to help, but meanwhile have you/your friend tried to talk to IPSEA or SOS:SEN for help?

Hi tryingtokeepintune - did you find out any info re: second tier tribunal? I am in exactly the same position! Be good to have any advice.

HI kelizam,

My friend's lawyers tried but were not granted leave to appeal. I think her grounds were that SENDIST did not take into account or give enough weight to something that they should have.

Good luck.
