Have just heard that LA have applied behind my back to add 4th witness - a senior S&LT who has never met my child.

I want to object and need to write a letter to go before the judge. Any thoughts

It's becoming standard as panels often listen to the LA first andParents last. A 4th witness isn't to add anything but waffle to eat away the parents time. You can suggest that you would like to keep to the rules in order to prevent the cost to yourselves and the public of potentially over-running.

Are they within the timescales to add a late witness anyway?
Definately write to judge and protest at relevance of this. I would just keep it simple personally, they are more likely to read it and take it on board.
The 4th persons evidence is probably best sent in as a written report or not at all.
