?ADHD Assessment esp school Help please

Hello everyone,
for some yrs now I have suspected my dd (now 10 in yr5) has a mild form of ADHD - shes always on the go, finds it hard to concentrate/ remember things like why she has done something wrong and does it again and again which makes matters worse/ has strops like you wouldnt believe for no reason at all and has fallen behind at school despite excellent attendance and support I could go on but those are some of the sypmtoms - anyway a few months ago I saw GP and asked for help as I couldnt cope anymore with worsening behaviour and hes referred us to a specialist who has said he thinks that she may have mild ADHD hes sending us a questionnaire to fill in and one for school - My problem is whenever I have been to school parents eves her teachers always seem to admit she needs help concentrating and bringing back to task but dont think its a problem - when quite clearly this has affected her progress - I think its because normally parents only ever want to hear positive things about their kids not necessarily the negatives - how can I get her teacher to fill in the questionnaire honestly as its not a refelctive thing about their teaching its about my child and ensuring she gets the help she deserves/needs. I may have worded this all wrong and apologise for it I dont want to offend anyone Help in approachiing the school about the questionnaire and then next steps forward would be usefull Thanks in anticipation

Don't worry. The school will fill in the connors questionaire honestly. It's worded in a very non-threatening (to teachers) way - ie 'does the student normally sit still' 'is the student sometimes rude to staff' etc.

It's just parents that teachers don't like being honest to :)

As for ADHD, 2 starting points are to cut out all artificial sweeteners from her diet and to start giving her Omega Fish Oils......

Warning!! Don't think that a positive diagnosis of ADHD will definitely help your child. Like my daughter she will, in all probability, be sent to a school for those with emotional and behavioural problems. In effect these are reform schools where they try to 'change' children by 'pin down' and mental torture, as per recent Panorama film.Your child will associate with other children that have severe problems, even though your child has only a mild condition. You may think you can complain about this to the Head/Governors /Education Dept., and it is true that you can. However, this will get you nowhere, and the standard method of defence in use, is to report you to Social Services for abusing your child. In nearly all cases, parents are effectively neutralised by this despicable process. However, when this was tried on us it blew up in their faces, as we effectively turned the wrath of Soc Serv from us onto the school, by proving the allegations had been fabricated (documentary evidence had been somehow changed). The Education Dept have been made aware of this, but have done nothing. When i asked Soc Serv why this was the case, they said an internal enquiry had taken place, but they cannot take action against their own Council (they suggested i take legal action against the school).
I HAVE BEEN GATHERING EVIDENCE FOR THE LAST 9 MONTHS AND REQUIRE STATEMENTS FROM THE PARENTS OF THE 12+ CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN VOLUNTARILY REMOVED FROM THE SCHOOL IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS. she doesnt have artificial sweetners ( Much) as she doesnt like many sweets etc and the eye q has made a jot of difference
