I have posted a couple of 'ds has done X' threads recently, so please excuse another one... won't do it again for a while, Blush

but the most amazing thing happened yesterday.

SLT came for her 6 week visit, did a test with ds with 50 cards, (for vocab) asking 'what is it?' and he got, (made a recognisable verbal attempt) at 20 of them.

She says mean av for his age (plus or minus 7) is 28.

Shock Shock Shock !!!!!!!

he was trying to say kangaroo and pineapple.

She and I were literally speechless. I still can't believe it really. After nearly 3 years of signing and breaking down speech for ds he is gobbling words at an amazing rate.

I hope you don't mind me telling you all, but I am kind of blown away, and it think if I told anyone else at the moment I would proably sob all over them, Blush
