dd has not slept thru the night for over a year now,she used to sleep 12/13hours a night but since last october 04 she regularly wakes up 3 or 4 times a night.

She,s not hungry and not wet and we couldnt understand why, when i mentioned this to the physio today on the phone she said she could be experiencing pain in her legs at night and this could be waking her up.

To the parents of hypermobile children- does this happen to your child and if so,what can be done about it?

TIA

Daughters hypomobility only effects her if she has been standing a while or on long walks...
we saw an orthotist at the hospital recently who gave her some built up insoles for her shoes to support her arches.

my daughter most nights sleeps like a log - thank goodness. However, she does tend to sleep with her legs up the walls, which is curious, never thought that it could be due to her hypermobility problems though.........

My DS sleeps well most nights. Occasionally he wakes and mucks about for a bit but then goes back to sleep by himself.

Lottie is hypermobile but sleeps for 11 hours a night, ish. She sleeps in odd positions as well, rolls all over the place inc the floor!
It's quite common for her to wake up at 4am and come into us but we are usually able to settle har back in her bed for anphter cou-ple of hours.

Is it possible that she is a bit cold and it's that that is waking her? You know how kids never sleep under covers.
