My ds asd(5) has recently taken to intentionally throwing things/hitting. Hit his teacher in the mouth today with a brick, scatched her and himself last week. He does it out of frustaration or anger. Iv tried to explain it hurts and stopped his treat for that day and made him say sorry (which he says anyway when people are upset with him) Would be interested in others stratergies before they suspend/exclude him.

Poor you
No real advice really as I would and do do what you already have. Do you do social stories with him and could you maybe do one about this? I don't know how you would do it as I am new to social stories myself.
