We are hoping to start ABA in the next couple of months providing we like what we see when we observe a session.
We would really like the Ed Pysch and the Autism Team to manage the transition into school and support DS1 in his first term as they know DS1 and are working closely with him in an attempt to prepare him for school.
I know we need a consistent approach but don't really want ABA staff getting involved in school until DS1 is settled and we can see the benefits of ABA.
So, what I am asking really is would it work to do ABA at home and let DS1 settle into school before we incorporate ABA into his school life?
