That sounds ridiculously quick for a first claim?! It was a huge stack of paperwork that I sent with it but I thought it was meant to be 11 weeks for a decision.

we had our first claim dealt with in less than 2 weeks - got MRC - I sent a letter asking for reconsideration & was awarded HRC by return post; so they can be very quick!

Excellent graciousenid - however as things are at the moment I'm expecting to be declined and then I can only be pleasantly surprised if they do accept the claim - it's about time for us to have a bit of good luck!

We requested our pack on Feb22nd, it had to be returned by April 1st, we found out on Thurs last week that DS had been awarded middle rate care component. Hope yours will be quicker than ours, but it will be backdated.

DD2's 1st claim was dealt with in 2 days. Seriously.

I hope it's the same here! Just sent Nemo's renewal back which I was surprised to get, I thought we had another 12 months but it would seem not.

Good news for those who will/have heard early Smile
