Hi all

I am trying to locate secondary provisions attached to mainstream schools for students with ASD or Specific Language Impairment or both.

I am struggling to locate this information and wondered if any of you who are aware of units in your areas could pm me so that I can contact them?

Many thanks!

I know of two in West Lothian and one in Falkirk (council not town) - I suspect that Scotland's not that useful to you though? lol

There are two secondary ASD units in Oxfordshire that I know of : The Cherwell School in Oxford and Lord Williams School inThame. However, listed under the Guide to Special School and Resource Bases in Oxfordshire, they have also named The Marlborough School.

I am not a parent, so it's a bit different for me. Basically I work in secondary provision and want to make links with other areas. I don't want to say where I am as it might identify me and I am always on here ranting on about talking about provision inequalities so... Grin

I am looking for anywhere from Birmingham in the South to Newcastle in the North but could go further if necessary. I know that there are units in Barnsley, Bradford, Kirklees, Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield so far..

Thanks, that would be brilliant! If it's easier to just send the whole list, I can do the extracting?
