Thought I would share this video with you of the child we fostered 10 years ago and who is now a member of our family. He has severe autism and severe developmental delay and has recently been diagnosed with apraxia with a dysarthric component. Many professionals didn't think he would be capable of developing speech but he is and best of all he is loving it!
If you look at the previous videos on my channel, you will see how he has progressed over the last year and 10 months, from only a few speech sounds to functional words.
