Who was asking whether ABA helps LD, not just autism? Here's some info

The following text and reference come from an eminent ABA expert, and could be used in letters to Local Authorities to show ABA works for learning difficulties , not just for autism. Hope it helps.

ABA is an entirely appropriate basis for intervention with LD, just as with autism. The fact is that ABA is a way of understanding behaviour and of changing it, so it can and does provide a scientific basis for treating many other disorders including addictions, personality disorders, as well as helping in areas such as sports coaching and energy conservation.The fact that ABA wasn't intended solely as a treatment for autism is stated clearly in this article (2nd page):
