My daughter has CP and someone I hardly know was talking down to me and being generally irritating and patronising about it but amongst all of the crap she came out with she mentioned the Bobart Institute or Centre - I have heard dd's physio mention that name too and am curious. Can anyone shed some light on this? Is it something I should be investigating further?
I couldn't ask irritating woman as I was too annoyed - anyone who talks about dd in hushed tones with her head on one side and looking pitiful and then tells me what a shame it is because she "looks normal" is on the road to a dry slap, so I ended the conversation as fast as i could!
