Melatonin manufacturer

i promised to let you know about the manufacturer of our melatonin 'powder' filled capsules...as some of you are only getting tablets which you have to crush.

these capsules are easily opened and the powder inside dissolves well...and is fairly tasteless...however i know some of our kids could taste 1 grain of salt!

We use superdrug to get them.

We are now having terrible trouble getting this brand of MELATONIN....the pharmascist at superdrug left and now there are a series of locums...who just don't seem to take me seriously about my need for the melatonin to dissolve.

So...does anyone here recieve the PENN brand EVERY time.

I have to ring around pharmascists...untill...i find some....then they order the remainder if they haven't enough...andusually its thewrong brand.

i feel like getting the paed to write me loads of smaller prescriptions...so i can handthem in to several chemists....as that way i am bound to get enough to tide us over!!!!

We can only get Pharma Nord which does not disolve and tastes foul, I didn't know you could get soluble ones.

cos we started off in the first place with this 'almost soluble'brand... i just assumed all melatonin was like that...so it amazed me when people on here said theirs didn't dissolve etc!!!
I could not see how they could say that!

Then one day...we were given these huge stinky capsuls by TYSON...and cos the boys have it in sports bottles that i cannot see the drink in...i had no idea that the powder had not dissolved!
so for 2 nights...they were a nightmare- just couln't sleep etc....

so by chance we were out the 3rd night and they had to have it in open glasses...in lemonade...and that is when i discovered how it just stuck to the sides!!!!

So....that proved melatonin works for my lads!

I often wonder when i hear that it has not helped kids on here...if its cos they have the stuff which sticks to the cup instead of being in the tummy!

Just to let you know it IS possible to get melatonon liquid!!!! it usualy takes a while to come so you have to order repeat prescriptions well in advance.
