So, so relieved ds's assessment for Independent special school today went brilliantly he was a star The post 16 head has a peer group and a curriculum and will be supporting us 100% to get the LEA to agree the placement as quickly as possible so as to start a transition plan.

She'll be reporting back to the LEA asap and then we wait I suppose.

The good news is the LEA haven't asked me to look at any other placements (so far at least) so hoping that once the report is in a decision will be made quickly.
