Back to school -how did it go?

Ds did not want to go back to school today, even though the holidays were very stressful for all of us. It took all my time and patience to get him dressed and through the door on time.

However on the way home two geese flew overhead honking at me and it made me think of everyone else on here!

It really cheered me up. Honk Honk everyoneSmile

I was glad to get DD back to school today as she has not been since beginning of March due to illness. She didn't object to going (as she doesn't have ASD or behaviour problems) but its such a relief to see my life starting to get back into my normal routine after all the stress of the last 2 months.

I keep jumping every time the phone rings though, just in case it's school ringing with a problem - but so far so good!

I'll be glad to get a small piece of normality back once ds gets back to school. He's been out of it nearly a year.
However honking anyway just for fun, cos I'm in the mood, been for an extremely long walk.....it's so hard pushing ds in his wheelchair. I'm so wrecked but feel so good.
