i am very desperately looking for a person who can speak spanish. my neice is 17 in june she has CB and is blind and epileptic but enough about her problems as she would slap me :-) she loves spain, they take her and the other younger kids to spain a lot, she is in love with a song by i think a portugese fella/band called juannes/juanes (?) and the song is la camisa negra. at her 17th birthday this june i would love to sing the song to her but i dont speak or understand spanish and i am desperate for someone who does understand the language to translate it to me - not in english - but with exact pronunciation. (i did say it was a big ask) I have googled it and learned the english words etc. but i just really need a simple way of someone telling me that que means kay, see? thank you thank you to anyone who can help.

Have you tried typing it into a spoken translator, the one's where they read it out for you?

Wow. It is a big ask. My DD speaks Spanish, but unless you live in her area I would think it would be difficult to arrange.
Have you tried local Colleges or Universities? Lots of Colleges do evening classes in Spanish and one of the tutors might agree to help you as it is for a good cause. Have you a Specialist Language College (school) in your area? If so there will probably be a Spanish teacher.
One thought though - if it is by a Portuguese band is it in Spanish or Portuguese? My DD speaks some Portuguese and there is a difference.

Have you tried looking on youtube and see if there is a recording of it on there you can listen to and hear the pronunciation?

Try posting this in language_bilingualism forum. (Have a SN child but she's also bilingual, but not Spanish, sorry!!)
