Private OT - where & how to find a good one Help!

We have to wait approx another six months for our DSs initial review under NHS OT. Shock This OT is very good/experienced in sensory issues and ASD.

Should we wait, or start considering finding our own and paying?

DS has a large amount if sensory issues and because they overlap with other symptoms of his diagnosis, it's difficult day to day, especially so at school.

Do you know where I can find a very good, experienced OT in the Essex area?

Thanken you muchly :)

You can go to the NHS Vision Therapy and Multi Sensory clinic at the Essex County Hospital in Colchester. I drove through Chelmsford, Thurrock and Brentwood to get there! I had only a 6 week wait for an appt. They have an OT, behavioural optometrist and vision therapist.
