Hi Devient, long time no speak. Sorry to hear about your ups and downs, hopefully things will look up for you. Can't believe your DS has been off school for months! I too also thought disabled kids in a sn school got handed everything on a plate. I now realise how naive I was.

Starlight, really sorry to hear what you are going through at the moment, you have so much on your plate at the moment. Hope you manage to work through it and come out fighting again xx

DD2 doing well, but been refused a school placement in September that I had ALL my hopes pinned on. No idea what to do now.

devientenigma · 30/03/2011 20:26

corn yes he is still off school, still refuses to go.

intothewest thanks for asking about ME, although at times it gets me down having him 24/7, no break, behind with the housework etc I am surprising myself at how well I am doing at times.
Being off hasn't eliminated all of his issues, after all he is challenging and complex. It also just makes me mad at how the profs have chose to pass the buck and disregard his problems.

starlight it ok to hijack, I hope you saw my post above it tho, hope you find peace soon and I know exactly what you mean with the relationship connection. I hope everything works out with DLA, didn't realise about that!!! The thread isn't ruined providing you are getting the comfort you need from reading the posts x

Hi mgc I agree long time no speak, have you been on fb much?? He's been off nearly a year and was always hitty missy, very reluctant, lucky to be in half a day. LOL at being naive, me too!!! Glad your absolutly gorgeous dd is doing well. As for no idea what to do now, as Harry Hill would say...........................FIGHT!!!!!

A big hello to everyone else.

yes it's the 24/7 bit that gets me down as well. I go to work for a break these days!

devientenigma · 30/03/2011 20:36

it's funny you should say that, I have just remarked to dh I need a job!! quickly followed by I can't B at home. However I think it was just the impromptu confidence that I have buil over the months.

are you back on MN to stay then? can you feel yourself getting sucked back in?!

mumgoingcrazy · 30/03/2011 20:51

Hello, I go on fb sometimes but rarely post anything (bit like here really).

I can't believe your DS has been off a year, and you have him 24/7. Such incompetance from the profs Angry

FIGHT, yes I know I'm going to have to fight, I'm trying to find where to get my last scrap of fight from. I only found out this morning so I'm still in shock as everyone said she'd get in no problems. They want her to be mainstream can you believe!! Give me a day or so and I'll be back to the LA all guns blazing again.
