Help - Car seat / stair gate

My ds 3.6 (15 kg) with ASD and learing difficulties has in the past two days turned into houdini!! Yesterday he learned to climb over the stair gate on his door and today he escaped from the car seat - high back booster with adult belt - he just slipped out of it without undoing it. I need help - what do I try now?

I've got a kiddiguard roller blind type gate that I'm going to try now instead of the wooded one he can now climb over as he will not be able to sit on it!

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, my ds is 10 and uses booster seat in car. i was provided with crelling harness for car which he cant undo, or slip out of. this was provided through OT. I know of other mums at ds school, who got car seat through OT which was suitable for younger dc. What about dog gate which is much higher than normal stair gate, available from argos i think. :)

dog gates are higher, and i had that with my ds at that age we used an extra harness
