I just chanced on this and have had a quick weep at such a great programme. It has just finished this morning but its a series, not sure how many episodes. Its called My Life: Karate Kids. So fantastic! About a group of disabled kids who attend a resource base and are being taught karate to help with mobility, expression, discipline etc but lots more about them and their families and backgrounds. I'm not sure if its repeated but should be on BBC IPlayer soon or Virgin Catch Up. Strongly recommend it, get the tissues ready.

My DS (ASD) has been attending karate classes but they are too big and we are now looking at funding a one to one tuition for him from his DLA. On a one to one basis he does well but in a big group it's hopeless.
