The government is deciding now on an adult social care framework that could affect people for generations. Sense, the national deafblind charity, is campaigning to ensure that the new system works for deafblind people of all ages.

To raise awareness of deafblindness and the need for social care in the lead up to Mother's Day, Sense needs mums of deafblind children and deafblind mums to send letters to their local papers.

Mother?s Day is on 3 April so not long to go! Send your letter by 28 March for the best chances of getting your letter published.

There's an easy to use e-action on Sense's website which, after writing your own story, lets you send your letter to the right editor at the click of a button. www.sense.org.uk/campaigns/mothers_day_action
