Fantastic, not having to worry about moving him etc.
I hope you are having a celebratory glass of something!

lottiejenkins · 19/03/2011 17:00

I intend to have a glass with neighbours tonight!! I also have thankyou letters to write to our GP (spect you know him anon he's at Fram) Our Paed and our Geneticist. I rang them up a few weeks ago and told them they were writing letters of support and what i wanted written in them!! They very sensibly didnt argue with meWink and three wonderful letters arrived on my doorstop!!

I don't know your GP (our GP is in Aldeb....) I may well know your paed though!
Very sensible of them not to argue with you, ds2's paed rings to discuss what she is putting on the DLA forms & his statmeent reports, befor she fills them in she's an amazing lady!

lottiejenkins · 19/03/2011 21:37

Our Paed is Dr Yale at Ipswich!!

Yes I know Dr yale, he treated DS2 in SCBU & has seen him several times over the years although DR James was his named consultant. He comes under the community paed now though, she is great, very proactive & kicks many a backside for us when people aren't doing what they say they will.
although on the whole I have found suffolk (both LEA & Health) have been great, with the exception of SALT provision but thats the same everywhere.

lottiejenkins · 19/03/2011 21:49

I'm lucky, i have Dr Yales secretaries direct number, can ring her up and say "hello it Charlotte, Wilf's mum." and she knows who i am.He has been going through outpatients since he was three weeks old!
