friends dd just been diagnosed with cp

My friends daugher just been diagnosed with cerebal palsey what can i do to help, still in hospital at the moment.

Im only asking because my dd has been hospitalised recently and we are expecting a diagnosis of CP soon

so how old are children when they usualy diagnosed? She is in hospital waiting for an MRI, an endoscopy and an ECG

Some children are disgnosed soon after birth. With my DS he was 2 1/2 years before we got the disgnosis. With DD1 she was 13 months. If a child isn't dignosed at birth, it normally around the 1 year mark.

My step son was diagnosed at 8 months, though his mum "knew" there was something wrong way before that.

Now saying that it not cp but leukodystrophy, painting a very glum picture. Just feel so for her and dh I just pray that it is all one big mistake but mri scans were not positive at all.
