CVS Worry

Hi Im new on here. had a CVS test done yesterday, Im so anxious about the results. I have 2 girls already, my eldest has Downs/Autism and has both a bad as you can get, she is 16yrs, cant walk, talk and is tube fed... we love her to pieces but life is hard for all.. she suffers alot! I didnt plan this pregnancy so it was a complete surprise Im 43 so my risk now is huge with having Abi already... Im just so worried,, needed to share with someone while I await results!

how long do you have to wait for results. i really hope your results are positive and no abnormalities are detected. hope you have lots of support at home. keep us updated, big hugs x

Thanks... have to wait till Monday.. so hard to stay detatched from the baby at this point as we were given a scan picture at the test which now makes it all seem so much more real.. just dont think I could bring another baby into the world who may have to go thru all my Abi has been thru... but now I am pregnant I want it so much. Will keep you posted thanks for your thoughts x

Fingers x that everything will be ok. i agree, when you get scan its only then you realise its all real.

Will keep fingers crossed for you. I had amnio when we got a high blood test result for Downs with my ds. Felt like eternity waiting for the results so can empathise and hope all is well
