My DS used to love Fun Song Factory back in the day with both the lovely Dave Benson Phillips and a thin Justin Fletcher. Lots of action songs but only a little real signing. I wonder if your DS would like that if they are still available.

Thanks guys,

also thanks ellen not heard of that one,we have the DBP 'nursery rhymes DVD, you know it, (the one filmed on the farm?) but of course makaton.

I will check if the one you mention is still available, thanks

and have to say we have Mr tumble recorded onto hard drive of freeview box from the TV (all the general signing ones and the 'out and about').

(I think I have said before if I heard the phrase 'tiny trucks' or can you sign 'tiny trucks'?
or oh look here are the frigging tiny trucks! again I will scream!!!

Fun song factory was a channel 4 children's programme from the early to mid 90s. It was available on VHS back when mine were small (DS now 11) but don't know if it ever made it on to DVD. DS loved it. This was pre DX days. There were about 6 or 7 different ones. All songs with actions on a theme. Eg colours, animals etc. A gang of half a dozen children, some dodgy puppets and a few adults. Maybe on amazon?

EllenJane1 · 16/03/2011 19:31

Just looked on amazon! They do do it. I'd avoid the live stage show. It was awful!

this speaking lark has a downside too tho, Wink

ds has loved the adverts, better than the programmes, just as entertainment, however first time today saw crappy toy advert and said 'mine!!!?'

A little consumer in the making, Grin
