Today I have a parent support worker coming to help me do this but thought I would see if anyone here had any wise words too so I don't miss anything.

DD has a SLI so the statement request is for that. I KNOW that the support programme they will offer her here is not enough for her and she would be best off in a s and l unit so it's about getting across how different her needs are compared to the others in the school I guess. Particularly as she has problems understanding language as well as speaking.
