so do i still go the tribunal in June to fight to get my son assessed?

I'd stick with it. The changes aren't going to be effective immediately and if I'm reading it right, those with statements will be changed over the new system when it comes in.

We haven't started the process yet, but will most likely be sending off our request for SA in the next fortnight - if things change, then we'll deal with it when it happens.

keep going brandy, this won't come in as far as I can see until 2014. Even then there will be something to replace it, haven't myself figured out what that will be yet, but there will be something!

Yes keep going and it says they are going to process requests faster. If you get a statement it will probably stay until 2014.
