Look at the comments, I had to stop.

Dyslexic kids are thick, ADHD is an excuse for bad parenting...

We'll be bad parents only if we roll over and accept this type of nonsense : )

There are an awful lot of really bigoted attitudes out there, often caused by ignorance. If only people knew just how hard it is to get a diagnosis! More stories of the real day to day struggles our children face urgently need to reach the media.

Combined with what this government has done in the arena of adult disabilities and financial support I think they need to hang the coalition leaders need to hang their heads in shame. A civilised society always supports it's most vulnerable; we are in danger of becoming savages.

There is a button you can press to flag any comments as 'innapropriate'. What an idiot that poster is who said ASD is a result of poor parenting.

That is terrible. DH and I got no help in school (he has dyslexia and AS, I have dyslexia and dyspraxia). I thought things had progressed so that our children would get the help they need and deserve but it appears we are going backwards.
