cant believe it!

Have got middle rate care and low mobility for DS, and it was backdated to JULY!!!!!

Just in time to pay for our holiday in a couple of months that i thought we would have to cancel.

right, ive got a question for you all, if as ds has low rate mobility - does he qualify for a blue badge?

And if so how do i go about getting it?

I don't know about that, but you do know you can get carers allowance now don't you? I'm sure you can get it from middle rate care component.

He won't qualify for a blue badge (I think) as it has to be higher rate mobility although you may be able to get one independent of DLA from your Council. Maybe all the pressure and reapplications from people (inc MNers) with children with learning disability is finally filtering through into the consciousness of the DLA staff????
