Hi, just read your interesting thread, how do you apply for tickets from magic wand?

5inthebed · 06/03/2011 21:23

Well done :)

I wish we loved closer to the Merlin theme parks, but too far :(

pinkorkid · 06/03/2011 21:31

lovethecake, link here: www.merlinsmagicwand.org/ application form looks fairly straightforward

We got some - 3 for the summer at Legoland

It's great because we get fed up of DS suddenly deciding he 'wants to go home' half an hour into a day trip. We cannot afford to drive 80 miles and pay up to £100 (more if Legoland etc) for half an hour.

We have used Clubcard vouchers in the past to take the sting out of it.

We can't afford holidays so it has to be day trips for us, otherwise we'd never go anywhere.

Thanks Merlin!

I've just applied for Legoland as he has looked on the website and has told me which rides he will and will not go on already Grin. Hopefully at 6 years old we might be able to get off the toddler rides this time Grin

We've just applied for legoland for the 4 of us. Like spinkle, can't risk dd2 deciding it's too noisy after a few minutes, at least if she does, one of us can stay with dd1 and the other take dd2 somewhere else!

How long did it talke between applying and getting the tickets?

bettyboop63 · 07/03/2011 12:24

same here spinkle , cant aford holidays either or DS changing his mind and wanting to come home half way through day, and sorry only just saw your question lovethecake but i see pink came to the rescue Grinit was easy just filled it in and then had to send off proof after they agreed we could have tickets i know a lot of you probably know this but just an idea when things i know are going to be very very noisy like theme parks or fireworks and DS hates it i take those little earplugs with me (ear defenders) you can get from local surplus stores rather than the great big ones my DS wont wear cos he doesnt like looking different from everyone else (he really worries about this)... nuruit took 2 weeks for me to get the tickets btw not very long they sent an email right away to let you know they were deciding
