Hi all

I was actually inspired by another thread to start reading about ABA to see if its something that might work with ds1, or if he is too old and/or HF for it. I read a little, but them wanted to see it in action, so had a quick look on youtube.

While I was there, I clicked on to a video of a lovely young lady who was dx with autism at the age of two and, now a teenager, created the video as part of her schoolwork.

I've seen lots of ASD related youtube etc clips over the past couple of years, but for some reason this one really caught my attention and for that matter dh's as well (he was just walking past me but came to sit with me and watched the whole thing).

If my ds grows up to be half as well balanced, articulate and bright as this young lady, I will be a very happy Mum.

I particularly liked her message of hope at the end.

Anyway, just thought I'd share it with you all as it really lifted my day.

Apologies.

Just realised I mistyped my title - it should say 'lovely girl with AS' not 'lovely AS girl' - apologies, verrry tired after only two hours' sleep last night.

Had to type this whole post three times due to typos as well. Blush

Think I'd better go to bed.

Really good. What a lovely young lady. I too like the bit about hope. As I always say, "never say never" :)
