Oh good grief!! Just when I thought I was over the worst hurdle on paperwork by sending in the DLA claim, I get the paperwork for the statement. It's just the same!! All the same types of questions, but just different enough where I'm going to have to do it all again!!

I can see that stocking up on wine is going to be a necessity....

its ok Triggles , id make loads of notes ect first before filling in, i have to confess i didnt do mine alone as i was worried id miss out something important or babble on about something that made no difference so PP helped me. i just thought if i made mistakes or it lacked the correct evidence they might just give me a worthless NIL instead and id be really angry at myself(AGAIN), spent so long blaming myself it becomes a habitSad ...dont you find its writing it all down and seeing it in black and white that makes it all the more upsetting and real IYSWIM good luck with it have tissues at the ready and wine n choc for later

Yes, I think that's it exactly. I find that I cannot do it all in one go. I generally work on it a few hours each evening after the boys are in bed. But it's like climbing down into a big hole of depression as I pick apart every little problem DS2 and put it in writing how it affects both him and us as a family. It takes me a while to climb out of it after I've finished the paperwork.

I'll have to put together my "paperwork kit"... chocolate, tissues, wine, something funny to watch on television afterwards each evening.
