DLA awarded i think

Had a DLA payment paid but no letter as yet, has anyone else had this happend. with this going in i presume its been awarded.

well done yest they did that to me i was surprised letter came 3 days later but i just rang them to check and they told me on the phone what when n how much each rate ect

We've been checking our bank account, hoping to see funds go in, as we're waiting on a decision on our DLA claim for DS2. Seems to be taking forever. Glad to hear it's going through for others though, hopefully ours will go through with positive results soon.

They received it on 28 January, so not that long (especially since I sent a huuuuuge packet of paperwork with it!!). I'm just nervous and impatient.

I'm just praying we get a positive response soon.

i do hope so but if you dont for any reason appeal and if any other ifos come along in meantime send that in too good luck, i got mine first time so hopefully you will be ok

Hmmm. I caved in and rang them just to see if they had everything they need. Was just told that they'd received it, it could take up to 11 wks and that they'd let me know if they needed any more information from me. sigh.... that was helpful...

dont worry they may say that and it still be quicker mine was about 4 weeks i was pleasently surprised so expect it at any time plus as someone yesterday said on here mine was put into my account and the letter hadnt even come yet (it came 3 days later) but i rang them to make sure what it was and it was backpayment couple weeks later the propper ammount started.
