DS 3.6 has been given a place at a specialist ASD Communication and Interaction Centre from September! I'm over the moon he'll start reception there and is now guaranteed a statement. It's attached to a small mainstream and both are ofsted outstanding. He is so lucky they only take up to 10 per keystage and it's the only one in the city. The staff, opportunities and facilities they offer are amazing.
I'm now looking forward to him starting school rather than dreading it.
