Thanks you so much. That has actually had me in tears - good tears. Having an emotional week for some reason! Such a lovely article. Just can't stop crying at the tears in her daughters eyes bit at the end, I don't know why, just such a tender image of the 2 of them, best friends and mother and daughter. Just a wonderful article - I loved reading it and thanks with sharing in janh. am going to send thet to my mum right now.

fio2, sorry if I should have put your name on too, I couldn't remember who else has a child with Down's but I'm glad you liked it too!

no janh my dd hasnt got Downs but she has got learning difficulties and I always think it is nice to hear positive stories about any child growing into an inspirational adultSmile does that sound corny?
