Tube type socks for school?

My son (age 5, size 12 feet) has trouble with his socks every day and it would be easier if I could buy tube-type socks like ski socks, but thinner if possible. This will get rid of the problem of where the heel goes as invariably it ends up on the top of his foot or his foot gets stuck half-way down!

Has anyone had any luck finding these? We would need to bulk buy as things get lost very easily! ie sent a note into school asking them to help him find: 2 school sweatshirts, a pair of trousers, a PE tshirt, a polo shirt and a packed lunch box! Grin

Thanks Bigcar.

Those are good prices. I'll have a go and see if it makes the morning fight dressing any easier

Would he be good with the kind of black socks that have a brightly coloured heel and toe? I know they make them for men but I don't know about kids.

Thank you all. Will order some black ones when I finally get paid as this month seems very long next week.
