STATEMENT ASD PRE -SCHOOL

Can anyone please tell me what provision they had in a statment for ASD child of pres- school age. Was specialist setting named? Am in process of SA and do not know what to put in statement. DS 3 years old currently on split placement mainstream and specialist ASD nursery. How many hours speicilist placement have others been offered? Many thanks for any advise.

you put what you want in Part 4 and then wait and see if the LA agree or offer something different. You should ask for what you want - or more than you want - and see what response you get.

What does the ASD nursery say should happen?

ASD nursery say special school when he is old enough but will his current placement be named in his first statement? he has only just turned 3 and we pay for ASD nursery at the moment

DD had a statement for pre-school in a dual placement, m/s 2 days and specialist placement 3 days and both schools were named on her statement. HTH, can't post very well, as I'm on iPod x will try to get back on computer later x

Do you have any preference of setting? If so then name this but have your reasons why up your sleeve so if they don't allocate the place that you like then you are able to go to panel with the reasons that this provision offers what your DS needs.
