Dd is a born comic and is very cutting in a style way beyond her years. She makes us all laugh daily but this weekend she has been on top form.
Dd was eating breakfast when her favourite big brother (21) got home. There was the usual greeting and then she said "B you're cou de crayon" (she's learning French) B expecting the usual compliments said thank you and she gave him a withering look and said "it means pencil neck fool"Grin
Later she was chatting to me when her Daddy tried to join in. Dd is a mummy's girl and keeps dh at arms length mostly. After he'd interrupted for a second time she squared up to him and said "excuse me I'm talking to Mum not Dumb!"Grin

I like the "cou de crayon". DD (6, ASD, bilingual English-French) comes out with some great ones sometimes when she translates directly.
