Thanks to DS' school Hmm who organised a trip that my DS couldn't go on, we ended up taking him to London ourselves today. I didn't want him to miss out.

Apart from a strange lady on the platform who got all aggressive because DS was in a bit of a flap (she was sitting on the platform talking to herself) it was fine. She got in my face a bit ('he's making me ANGRY' she shouted at me)but I barked back at her and she backed off. Clearly had mental health issues sadly.

When we couldn't find the Disney store (we had said we were going) I thought he might flip out then, but he held it together.

All in all, he was fantastic - even on the tube.

We think the GF/CF diet is definitely helping him. Subtle differences definitely in speech, I think, as well as his general demeanour.

We are shattered. DS is at his Nans tomorrow whilst his school go on their trip to London.
I really hope it's not too stressful a day for the staff Wink

Well done Little Spinkle!

I'm often impressed by how much effort people on this board go to to make sure their DCs are put at as little disadvantage as possible. I think it's fab that you were willing to do that. So many people would have just sat at home in front of the tv moaning about the school not doing their job. So good on you too Spinkle!

Little Spinkle did really well to cope. London is sensory overload city. Smile
