Twas mentioned last night, some of you have good ideas for apps, and I'd really love to hear them please!

Had to laugh inwardly yesterday as DD2 was sent home with her first school nursery library book. Zigby, not bad you might think, however Zigby is most definitely NOT Dora. So no point in that then. She won't even let me show her the front cover or touch the book without screaming no!! They can change it every week as they plan to but I'd be willing to bet money it will be a long time before they find one she'll be interested in, or even let me read the title of. Control issues? just slightly....

Think the ipad is one of the few ways our girl will learn... although I'll have to disable youtube first. She's found the Japanese Pocoyos already.... HELP!! Blush

Hi Miss World,

Where do you live? There is a workshop in February (not quite sure where) that shows parents and professionals all the different learning apps for an ipad for children with special needs. I think it is free.

I will find out more details

missworld2010 · 21/01/2011 21:34
