Hi there;

Just to say a quick "Hello": I'm mum to H, who is 19m, Galactosaemic, severe uncontrolled Epilepsy, some sort of ASD (pending diagnosis but looks like vanilla Autism to me) etc etc, pending further investigation.

Bump on the way at the end of the year.

I've been pointed to this forum after mentioning on another board that I can't find anyone to talk to - signed up last night and spent my 24 hours before the profile activated going "oooh, yes, they said that to us too, and....." itching to butt into various conversations.

Now I can post of course, have come over all shy! Anyhow, you seem a very friendly lot & am glad I found you.

Hi, and welcome. I have a 1yr old ds who was born with a hole in his bowel and has had ongoing complications from this. We are awaiting dx as well as he has some dev delay, allergies, reflux, constipation and failure to thrive. The ppl on this forum are lovely and very informative.

Hi, well you'll have plenty of people to talk to on here. My 5 year old ds has ASD, he's at mainstream, but lately the school are finding him very challenging, to say the least.

Good luck with the "bump"

I hope you don't mind me asking, but I've never heard of 'vanilla' autism before, and I'm just abit curious about it.
