DD2 has guitar lesson on a tuesday after school.

One friend can't do tuesdaythis term so us parents agreed friday would be fine.

I didn't consult DD - assumed that as she does nothing on a friday this would be fine.

Of course it isn't fine. and now everything is horrible because it has changed.

When will I learn?

Oops! She'll get used to it, won't she? Is she motivated enough but the lessons to adapt?

If it helps, don't think of it as wrong, just a mistranslation from "LogLady" language to "DD2" language Smile

Dd3 would react in exactly the same way. Last week we were going to soft play with Dd1 and DGD at the last minute [well about an hour before we went] Dd1 wanted to change venues, aaarrrgg, Dd3 was distraught, saying she didn't want to go and in a right tizz. I did mangage to convince her that it would be fine, and of course it was, she had a great time chasing DGD around.

Dd1 has poor theory of mind and a lack of empathy and didn't get what all the fuss was about, so once again like you I looked like the bad guy.

I hope your Dd will go to guitar on Tuesday, purple is right of course, she will get used to it, maybe you just need a flack jacket in the meantime.Smile.
