Ds1 has been in pants since september last year. He was having 6-10 accidents a day but by september this year he was having 0-2 a day and having about 3 or 4 dry days a week. He managed 6 dry days in a row last week but now school has broken up it's back to 2-3 accidents a day. I think it must be the change in routine, either that or he prefers the school loo to the one at home!

Aargh. My house smells of wee all the time and he doesn't seem to care if he's wet or not. BTW DS1 is 4.5 and has ASD, probably AS

With the change in routine are you eating at different times - more snacking, drinks on request? That can make a difference to body functions. Does he have a routine at school for toiletting? My DS is taken every hour - so i'm trying desperately to remember each hour to ask him to go.
Personally I don't think anyone would prefer anyone else's toilet to their own - even mine with 4 men in the house (urgh!) Xmas Grin

well done to ds for the 6 dry days-Smile I think it must be the change to the routine and as auntevil says a change in when he eats and drinks.I don't have much advice as I'm going through this at the moment with ds-but we are at an early stage. Stick with it;lots of praise and I'm sure he'll get the hang of it- I know what you mean about the house smelling- I guess you just have to try to establish your own routine- I'm putting ds on the loo every 1 1/2 as that seems to work (not always of course) good luck

Thanks ladies. DS has an unlimited supply of water at school and I restrict it more at home. I've been taking him to the toilet every hour and he had 9 dry days in a row Grin. Yesterday was tricky for him because he was meant to be going back to school but there was a heating problem so it was closed. He had an accident in the dr surgery and everyone thought my waters had gone! (dc3 is due on saturday). Back to school today so fingers crossed that will help.
